Zack Snyder's Justice League is the 2021 director's cut of the 2017 American superhero film Justice League, the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). It is a direct sequel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). It was released on HBO Max in the United States on March 18, 2021. It stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy.
