Watchmen: Chapter I is an animated superhero mystery film which is the second adaptation of the miniseries of the same name following the live-action film directed by Zack Snyder in 2009. The film was distributed by Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. on August 13, 2024. A sequel entitled Watchmen: Chapter II was released in 2024.
In 1985, the murder of a government sponsored superhero draws his outlawed colleagues out of retirement and into a mystery that threatens to upend their personal lives and the world itself.
