Valerie and Her Week of Wonders (Czech: Valerie a týden divů) is a coming-of-age/psychological/folk horror film released in 1970.
In the film, a girl on the verge of puberty saves a thief from a ghoulish man. She soon learns that the man is a vampire and possibly her father, and the only thing protecting her are a pair of magical pearl earrings. The film was directed by Jaromil Jireš and stars Jaroslava Schallerová, Helena Anýžová, Petr Kopřiva and Jiří Prýmek. The film is based off of Vítězslav Nezval's 1945 novel of the same name.

Notes[]
- The ending of Valerie waking up in a bed leaves up a lot for interpretation. The whole film may have be a dream, or at least the second half of the film. Nothing is confirmed however due to the film's surreal style.
