Transformers: The Movie is a 1986 film directed by Nelson Shin. It is part of the Transformers G1 cartoon universe.
The heroic Autobots defend their homeworld Cybertron from the evil Decepticons. Both factions are seething with anger, and that hatred has blinded them to a hideous menace headed their way.

- Windcharger - Killed off-screen in the battle of Autobot city, body seen.
- Optimus Prime - Succumbed to his injuries after being shot in the chest multiple times by Megatron. Revived in Season 3 of the G1 show.
- Skywarp - Thrown into space by the Decepticons and died of his injuries from the battle of Autobot city. Body later used to create Cyclonus.
- Thundercracker - Thrown into space by the Decepticons and died of his injuries from the battle of Autobot city. Body later used to create Scourge.
- Shrapnel - Thrown into space by the Decepticons and died of his injuries from the battle of Autobot city. Body later used to create a Sweep.
- Bombshell - Thrown into space by the Decepticons and died of his injuries from the battle of Autobot city. Body later used to create Cyclonus's armada.
- Kickback - Thrown into space by the Decepticons and died of his injuries from the battle of Autobot city. Body later used to create a Sweep.
- Megatron - Body destroyed by Unicron to create Galvatron. Revived as Galvatron.
- Starscream - Disintegrated when Galvatron shot him with the particle cannon. Revived as a ghost.
- Sweep - Blows up after being lit on fire by Grimlock or Sludge. They each use their flame breath to light a Sweep on fire in Autobot city when they are trying to board the shuttles to leave; it is unclear which of the two Sweeps is the one who explodes.
- Four Fish - Eaten by Golden Robotic Fish.
- Six Robotic Golden Fish - Killed by Hot Rod using his chainsaw arms.
- Unknown Cybertronian - Eaten by Sharkticons after a Quintesson servant pulled a lever that made him fall into their water, under Quintesson Judge's orders.
- Kranix - Eaten by Sharkticons after being forced into their water by Quintesson Judge.
- Ultra Magnus - Shot from above by The Sweeps. But he would later be fixed up and revived by The Junkions
- Two Sharkticons - Run over by Hot Rod while in vehicle mode.
- Two Sharkticons - Run over by Kup while in vehicle mode.
- Two Sharkticons - Faces crushed by Kup using his weapon.
- Sharkticon - Face accidentally torn off by another Sharkticon while trying to kill Hot Rod and Kup.
- Four Sharkticons - Crushed by Sludge using his foot.
- Shockwave - Killed off-screen when Unicron attacked Cybertron.

- Dirge - Eaten by Unicron.
- Unicron - Exploded after Rodimus Prime used the Matrix of Leadership while inside of him. Revived as a head.
