The Tragedy of Transoceanic Flight 37 is a minor event in season one of the tv show The Boys.
Transoceanic flight 37 gets hijacked by a group of terrorists, so Homelander and Queen Maeve go to save it. They successfully kill most of the terrorists, and they see there is one more terrorist in the cockpit, having already killed one of the pilots and having a gun to the other pilots head, he shoots the pilot and Homelander kills him with his heat vision, destroying the planes controls in the process. Queen Maeve says that Honelander must lift the plane, but he says he can't do it. She begged Homelander to at least save two kids, but refuses and says they will rat them out. He says that come with him so she can live, or stay in the plane and die, she reluctantly leaves and watches the plane crash. After the incident, Homelander says that they couldn't make it fast enough as it already crashed when they got there, and he says if they let superheroes into the military, this would never happen again.
It takes place in the episode "The Female of the Species".
