Thunderbolts* is a 2025 American superhero film directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo, based on Marvel Comics featuring the team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
After finding themselves a four-way assassination plot, an unconventional team of antiheroes must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
