After a series of scientific experiments directed towards freeing the inner man and controlling human personalities, the kindly, generous Dr Henry Jekyll (Paul Massie) succeeds in freeing his own alter ego, Edward Hyde, a sadistic, evil creature whose pleasure is murder.
