The Shadow Returns is a 1946 American mystery film written by George Callahan and directed by Phil Rosen. It is the first of three films to feature Kane Richmond as the pulp character "The Shadow". (See also: Behind the Mask and The Missing Lady)
A private detective named Lamont Cranston tries to solve a tricky mystery involving a disappearing jewel thief and supposed suicides where the victims jumped off of balconies.
