
The Sandman is an 2022 American fantasy drama television series based on the 1989–1996 comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics. The series was developed by Gaiman, David S. Goyer, and Allan Heinberg for the streaming service Netflix, and is being produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. A spin-off entitled Dead Boy Detectives was released in 2024.
Upon escaping after decades of imprisonment by a mortal wizard, Dream, the personification of dreams, sets about to reclaim his lost equipment.
