The Ritual is a 2017 British horror film directed by David Bruckner and written by Joe Barton. It stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier, and Sam Troughton. The film is based on Adam Nevill's 2011 novel of the same name.
Reuniting after the tragic death of their friend, four college pals set out to hike through the Scandinavian wilderness. A wrong turn leads them into the mysterious forests of Norse legend, where an ancient evil exists and stalks them at every turn.

- The Witch - Burned to death by Luke with a torch.
- The Host - Eyes gouged out by Moder off-screen, body seen being thrashed around and then dropped.
