The Possession of Joel Delaney is a folk horror/exploitation/slasher film released in 1972.
In the film, an upper class woman begins to notice disturbing changes in her brother's behavior. It is not long that she learns he has been possessed by a serial killer, and the only way to get rid of it is by a Santería ritual. The film was directed by Waris Hussein and stars Shirley MacLaine, Perry King and Michael Hordern. It is based off of Ramona Stuart's 1970 novel off the same name.
