The Neon Demon is a 2016 American thriller film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, produced by Lene Børglum, Sidonie Dumas, and Vincent Maraval, and starring Elle Fanning, Jena Malone, Karl Glusman, Abbey Lee, Christina Hendricks, and Keanu Reeves.
Jesse (Elle Fanning) is an 18-year-old girl who has just arrived in Los Angeles. Owner of an impressive natural beauty, she tries her luck as a professional model. After taking some morbid photos for a young photographer, she is hired by a reputable modeling agency. Quite naïve, she starts to deal with the always inflated ego of the other models and also with the makeup artist Ruby (Jena Malone), who has hidden intentions with the young woman.
