The Mummy Returns is a 2001 Universal American action-adventure film directed by Stephen Sommers, produced by James Jacks and Sean Daniel, and starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, Arnold Vosloo, John Hannah, Freddie Boath, Oded Fehr and Dwayne Johnson. It is a sequel to the 1999 remake The Mummy, followed by The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
Now married, the O'Connells (Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz) are once again drawn into a sinister plot surrounding the evil mummy Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), now attempting to gain power over the army of Anubis by killing the legendary Scorpion King (Dwayne Johnson).
