
The Mummy's Tomb is a 1942 American Universal horror thriller film directed by the late Harold Young and starring the late John Hubbard, the late Dick Foran, the late Wallace Ford, the late Elyse Knox, the late Lon Chaney Jr., and the late George Zucco. It is the third film in the original The Mummy franchise, the sequel to The Mummy's Hand and followed by The Mummy's Ghost.
30 years after desecrating Ananka's (Zita Johann) tomb and facing its guardian, the mummy Kharis (Lon Chaney Jr.), Steve Banning (Dick Foran) is old and starts a family. But Kharis and his Priest (George Zucco) are not dead and promise revenge on the entire Banning bloodline. Therefore, they go to the United States to bring terror to the families of the archaeologists who became famous and rich more than 30 years ago with the desecration of the sacred tomb of Princess Ananka.
