- During the film, Prim mentions that several people from District 13 had died during an unspecified pox epidemic a few years prior, but since it is unknown exactly how many had died during the epidemic, none will be counted, though aside from Alma Coin's husband and daughter, who were directly mentioned to have died during the epidemic.
- Shortly after this, Commander Paylor mentions that she'd set up a mass grave in District 8 for their casualties but since it is unknown exactly how many people were in it, none will be counted.
- Later in the film, it is confirmed that District 12 had a population of 10,000, with only 915 people surviving the firebombing, meaning that a total of 9,085 people were killed during the attack.
- Near the end of the film, during a broadcast, Finnick mentions that in order for President Snow to keep his power and title in Panem, he would poison any adversary that got in his way, but since it is unknown exactly how many people he poisoned, only two will be listed for the minimum.
