The Heaps Massacre is a major event in season eight of The Walking Dead.
After the neutral group of The Scavengers repeatedly switch sides in the war between The Saviors and The Militia, Negan Smith orders Simon to scare them into being subservient only to them by killing a single member of their group, but Simon instead chooses to kill every last member with Jadis only surviving by faking her death.
