The Crow is a 1994 American gothic superhero film directed by Alex Proyas and written by David J. Schow and John Shirley, based on the comic of the same name by James O'Barr. It stars the late Brandon Lee in his final film appearance as he was killed during the filming of the movie by a mistakenly loaded gun. It also stars Ernie Hudson, Michael Wincott, Bai Ling, David Patrick Kelly, the late Michael Massee, and the late Tony Todd. It was followed by The Crow: City of Angels in 1996, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven in 1998-1999, The Crow: Salvation in 2000, The Crow: Wicked Prayer in 2005, and a remake in 2024.
The film follows Eric Draven (Brandon Lee), a rock musician who is resurrected from the dead to seek vengeance against the gang who murdered him and his fiancée, all the while being pursued by a sympathetic police officer.
