The Clairvoyant

The Clairvoyant (Alternate Title: The Killing Hour), is a 1982 American crime-horror/thriller film directed by Armand Mastroianni.

The story takes place in New York City, where the police are on the case of a serial killer dubbed "The Handcuff Killer." Meanwhile, an artist named Virna Nightbourne is having psychic visions of the murders and sketches them on her canvas.

Victims

• Elizabeth "Betty" Cotteray/Mercer/Cowl - Suffocated by Paul McCormack with a pillow, found later floating in the Hudson River.
• Burt Johnson - Drowned when his ankle was cuffed to the bottom of a pool ladder by Paul McCormack.
• James Dearden - Electrocuted by Paul McCormack when his wrist was cuffed to a rail with a jumper cable attached.
• Teddy Gallagher - Crushed by an elevator when Paul McCormack cuffed him to the bottom of the shaft.
• Willie's Dog - Shot by Detective Rich.
• Willie Gonzales - Shot in the back by Detective Sporaco.
• Muriel Watson - Drowned when Paul McCormack handcuffed her to the steering wheel of her car and put a brick on the gas pedal, making it go out of control until it eventually crashed into the water.
• Paul "Mac" McCormack/The Handcuff Killer - Dropped from a building by Detective Larry Weeks, at his own behest.
