The City of the Dead is a gothic horror film released in 1960.

In the film, a history student travels to a remote New England town where a witch a burnt centuries earlier. When she does not return, her brother travels there to look for her only to come across a shocking discovery. The film was directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and stars Christopher Lee, Dennis Lotis, Patricia Jessel and Betta St. John. It was the feature debut of Moxey. The film is also sometimes known under the title Horror Hotel.
