The Batman is an animated action/horror tv show created by Michael Goguen and Duane Capizzi for Detective Comics, beginning in 2004 and concluding in 2008 with a film titled The Batman vs. Dracula releasing in 2005. The show stars Mark Hamill, the late Adam West, Tom Kenny, Ron Perlman, Patrick Warburton, Robert Patrick, Rino Romano, Clancy Brown, and several other guest voice actors. A comic series titled The Batman Strikes! was created as a tie-in to the show, beginning in 2004 and concluding in 2008.
This animated adventure series of Bruce Wayne -- billionaire by day, crime fighter by night -- starts as Wayne balances life as a free-wheeling bachelor with his role as the Caped Crusader. He's joined on occasion by Robin and Batgirl. Black Mask, Killer Moth, the Everywhere Man and a brand-new Clayface join the Joker, Penguin and Riddler in ceaselessly tormenting Gotham City.
