Teke Teke is a popular ghost story from the Japanese legend, created by an unknown person. In this legend, a woman called Chizo was tragically killed by a train and had her legs severed from her body. As a result, her ghost crawls around using her hands and elbows to move and carries a scythe that she uses to sever the legs of unwary victims.

Notes[]
- The story of Teke Teke is actually predated by a similar story of a woman named Kashima Reiko whose legs were also severed by a train, but targeted people in bathrooms and would kill people if they couldn't answer where her legs were. However, her story eventually evolved into becoming the Slit-Mouthed Woman.
