- In Issue #1, it is mentioned that Captain Marlowe lost his entire crew during an expedition to find Atlantis, but it is unknown how many of them there were, so none will be counted.
- Also in issue #1, it is later mentioned that a ship was sent to the new world by King Philip III of Spain, but that it never made it there, implying that the crew of said ship was killed by Namor and the Atlanteans, but since it is unknown how many were on the ship, none will be counted.
