Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is a 1984 American science fiction film which is a sequel to the television series Star Trek: The Original Series. It was released on June 1, 1984 by Paramount Pictures. It is the third Star Trek film following Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and it is followed by Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home in 1986.

Admiral Kirk and his bridge crew risk their careers stealing the decommissioned USS Enterprise to return to the restricted Genesis Planet to recover Spock's body.
