Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is a 1982 American science fiction film which is a sequel to the television series Star Trek: The Original Series. It was released on June 4, 1982 by Paramount Pictures. It is the second Star Trek film following Star Trek: The Motion Picture and it is followed by Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in 1984.
With the assistance of the Enterprise crew, Admiral Kirk must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon.
