
Star Trek Beyond is a 2016 American science fiction film which is the third film within the Kelvin Timeline, acting as a reboot of Star Trek: The Original Series. It was released on July 22, 2016 by Paramount Pictures. It is the thirteenth Star Trek film following Star Trek Into Darkness and is followed by Star Trek: Section 31.
The crew of the USS Enterprise explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a new ruthless enemy, who puts them, and everything the Federation stands for, to the test.
