Star Trek 2009

Star Trek is a 2009 American science fiction film which is the first film within the Kelvin Timeline, acting as a reboot of Star Trek: The Original Series. It was released on May 8, 2009 by Paramount Pictures. It is the eleventh Star Trek film following Star Trek: Nemesis and it is followed by Star Trek Into Darkness in 2013.

The brash James T. Kirk tries to live up to his father's legacy with Mr. Spock keeping him in check as a vengeful Romulan from the future creates black holes to destroy the Federation one planet at a time.
