Peter Benjamin Palmer, better known as Spider-Man, is the Spider-Man of his earth, Earth-616 Beta. He is the main protagonist in the fifteenth issue of Amazing Fantasy, the main protagonist of the first issue in The Amazing Spider-Man, and a major protagonist in volume 4 of Spider-Man. For an unknown reason, after issue #1 of The Amazing Spider-Man, he was replaced by Peter Parker, the Earth-616 version of Spider-Man.
He was created by the late Stan Lee and the late Jack Kirby.
