
Smokin' Aces is a 2006 American action crime film directed by Joe Carnahan. It stars Ryan Reynolds, the late Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Common, Taraji P. Henson, Alicia Keys, Tommy Flanagan, Chris Pine, Kevin Durand, Maury Sterling, Néstor Carbonell, and Joseph Ruskin. A prequel titled Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball was later released in 2010.
Las Vegas magician and would-be crime boss Buddy "Aces" Israel (Jeremy Piven) agrees to testify against former partner and friend Primo Sparazza (Joseph Ruskin) in return for admittance into the Witness Protection Program. However, before the deal can be hammered out, Sparazza orders a hit on Israel, and a host of hit men and women race to kill the snitch and kill the bounty, while the FBI endeavours to keep their source of information alive.

Note[]
- The prequel, Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball, revealed that Beanie was actually an undercover FBI agent, and he was a main character in that film, so he is underlined.
- The film ends with Richard Messner disconnecting Buddy Israel and Primo Sparazza from life support with other police officers starting to break down the door. It can be presumed that Messner as imprisoned for the murders, but it is unknown whether or not he was.
