
Shadow Man is a 2006 American thriller film directed by Michael Keusch, and also written and produced by Steven Seagal, who also starred in the film. The film co-stars Eva Pope, Imelda Staunton, and Garrick Hagon. The film was released on direct-to-DVD in the United States on June 6, 2006.
Ex-CIA operative Jack Foster (Steven Seagal) has retired from a life of espionage and lives quietly, teaching martial arts at a local dojo. At the end of a relaxing vacation in Romania, Foster's father-in-law falls victim to a car bomb, and his daughter is kidnapped by a mysterious woman. As Foster struggles to rescue her and bring the responsible parties to justice, he finds himself caught in a web of government corruption -- and suddenly in the possession of a deadly biological weapon.
