Popeye the Sailor is a television series, based off of the character of the same name originating from the Thimble Theater comic strip, beginning in 1960 and concluding in 1962 with a total of 220 episodes.
This series is followed by the 1970s series The All New Popeye Hour by Hanna-Barbara.
