Personal Life[]
- Although both Alberto Torres and Ray Gunkel both did actually die after matches where Ox Baker performed his "Heart Punch" finishing move on them, both men actually died from unrelated and coincidental heart diseases and heart attacks respectively, and Ox Baker was not actually responsible for killing them. In actuality, the AWA used these tragic deaths to further his reputation as a heel wrestler who enjoyed hurting people and bragged about murdering his opponents.
