Nyarlathotep, also known as The Black Man and The Crawling Chaos, is the main antagonist of the Cthulhu Mythos, serving as the main antagonist of "Nyarlathotep," The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath, "The Haunter of the Dark," and The Whisperer in Darkness, a minor antagonist of "Fungi From Yuggoth," and the overarching antagonist of "The Dreams of the Witch House." He has an alternative form called The Haunter of the Dark.
He is the spawn of Azathoth, serving him without question and acting as his dark priest. He is by far the most malevolent god in the entire Mythos.
