Trivia[]
- In 1952, he started a yakuza family, the Ando Family, which mostly consisted of youths. In 1958, he sent a hitman to kill businessman Hideki Yokoi, leading to him getting arrested and serving six years in prison. He took up acting and singing after being released.
- He has worked on many autobiographies regarding his life as a yakuza, including acting as himself in a couple of films and serving as a technical advisor on a couple other.
