Night of the Big Heat is a 1967 British Planet Film Productions horror, mystery, science fiction thriller film directed by the late Terence Fisher, produced by Ronald Liles and the late Tom Blakeley and starring the late Christopher Lee, the late Sarah Lawson, the late Patrick Allen, the late Peter Cushing, Jane Merrow, and the late William Lucas. It is based on the 1959 science fiction novel of the same name written by the late John Lymington.
Something mysterious is happening on the island of Fara. It's November and the temperatures are so high that the heat has scorched fields and men. Everything is chaos: the electrical system is saturated and causes the fall of telephone lines and the explosion of electrical appliances. Faced with the appearance on the island of strange creatures that radiate large doses of heat, the population flees in terror.
