Meg: Primal Waters is a 2004 science fiction horror novel by American author Steve Alten. It is the sequel to The Trench: Meg 2 and the third book in the MEG series.
The book takes place 18 years after the events of the previous book and continues the adventure of Jonas Taylor, a paleobiologist studying the megalodon, who now begins a family with his wife and is a father of two kids. Overwhelmed by mountains of bills and the daily strife of raising a family, Jonas joins a new survival series: DAREDEVILS but is unaware that someone else is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
