Marcus Andrews, also known as Richard Thompson or The Bone Collector, is the main antagonist of the 1999 film The Bone Collector. He is a former forensic officer for the Syracuse, New York police department who was outed by forensic criminologist Lincoln Rhyme for forging evidence in homicide investigations and sent to prison where he was brutalized by inmates. After serving his sentence, he was released and started murdering people to play criminal mind games with Rhyme.
He is portrayed by Leland Orser. In disguise, he is portrayed by Michael Rooker and presumably other uncredited men.
