Man with a Gun is a 1995 Canadian and American NuImage and October Films action, drama, and suspense film directed by David Wyles, produced by Robert K. MacLean, and starring the late Michael Madsen, Gary Busey, Jennifer Tilly, the late Bill Cobbs, Ian Tracey, and the late Robert Loggia. It is based on the novel The Shroud Society by the late Hugh C. Rae.
John Hardin (Michael Madsen) is a tough hitman in the service of gangster Jack Rushton (Gary Busey). He is blackmailed by his beautiful, sexy wife Rena (Jennifer Tilly), with whom Hardin has an affair. Rushton orders Hardin to kill Rena. Rena proposes to kill her twin sister Kathy (Jennifer Tilly) in her place, but Hardin prefers not to kill innocent people. Instead, he kidnaps Kathy. And he falls in love with her in the process.
