Lionel Luthor is a major character throughout Smallville, appearing as the main antagonist of season two and three, a supporting antagonist during seasons one and four and an anti-hero in seasons five through seven. He is the founder of LuthorCorp and the father of Lex Luthor.
He is portrayed by John Glover.
