Lady Snowblood is a jidaigeki/rape-and-revenge/vigilante film series. It is based off of the manga series of the same name. The series follows the eponymous Lady Snowblood, who gets revenge on the people who wronged her family during the rise of the Imperial Japanese empire. Both films were directed by Toshiya Fujita stars Meiko Kaji in the title role.
