King of the Lost World is a 2005 American fantasy monster adventure film produced by The Asylum. The film is adapted loosely from the 1912 novel The Lost World by the late Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. It was directed by Leigh Scott and stars Bruce Boxleitner, Jeff Denton, and Steve Railsback.
An airliner crashes somewhere in the Amazon and splits in two. In the midst of the debris, the survivors are trying to organise themselves while waiting for help. Soon, they find clues that suggest that they are not alone in the jungle.
