Kal-El, legally named Clark Joseph Kent, is a superhero known as Superman, the last survivor of Krypton, the host of the Growth Codex, an investigative reporter for the Daily Planet, the fiancé of Lois Lane, and a member and direct inspiration of the Justice League. He is a major protagonist through the DC Extended Universe appearing in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, Zack Snyder's Justice League, and Peacemaker.
He is portrayed by Henry Cavill.
