James Robert McCrimmon is a companion of the Second Doctor, appearing as a main protagonist in season 4-6 of Doctor Who. He is a Highland Scot from the mid-18th century who travelled with Polly Wright, Ben Jackson, Victoria Waterfield and Zoe Heriot.

He is portrayed by Frazer Hines.
