
House of Dracula is a 1945 American Universal horror thriller film directed by the late Erle C. Kenton, produced by the late Paul Malvern and starring the late Onslow Stevens, the late Jane Adams, the late John Carradine, the late Lon Chaney Jr., the late Martha O'Driscoll, and the late Lionel Atwill. It is the seventh film in Universal Pictures franchise Frankenstein, a sequel to House of Frankenstein and followed by Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
With the help of his hunchbacked assistant Nina (Jane Adams), the kindly Dr. Franz Edlemann (Onslow Stevens) attempts to cure Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) and Count Dracula (John Carradine) of lycanthropy and vampirism respectively. Despite his purity of intentions, Edlemann is continuously distracted by the temptation of revitalizing Frankenstein’s Monster (Glenn Strange).
