Hotel Angel (Thai: เทพธิดาโรงแรม "Thephida rongraem") is a 1974 neo-noir/psychological thriller film directed by Chatrichalerm Yukol. It stars Viyada Umarin, Sompob Benjathikul, Surasak Worasithikon, and Sorapong Chatree. The film is based off of Narong Chanrueang's 1973 novel of the same name and was notable at the time for including footage from the October 14th 1973 protests.
In the film, an adventurous girl from Chiang Mai is taken to Bangkok by her new husband, who tricks her and sells her into prostitution. As her life slowly becomes meaningless with the cycle of violence within her new reality, she begins to fall in love with a seemingly nice man who becomes her only way out.
