Heat is a 1995 American crime thriller film written and directed by Michael Mann; starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, the late Val Kilmer, the late Tom Sizemore, Danny Trejo, and Tom Noonan. It is partially based on real events and is a remake of Mann's 1989 film L.A. Takedown.
