Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a 2023 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, and Sylvester Stallone. It was directed by James Gunn. It was followed by The Marvels in 2023.
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians.

Notes[]
- The High Evolutionary did not die onscreen, Drax chose to save him from his exploding ship and he was later imprisoned on Knowhere. However, it's possible that he later passed away in his custody.
- It is confirmed by James Gunn, the movie's director, that the High Evolutionary visited Earth in the 1980s, so the 1980 world population was used for Counter-Earth's destruction.
- Whilst on Counter-Earth, the High Evolutionary tells Star-Lord that he destroyed many worlds after he found them imperfect, but none will be counted since there is not a specific number for how many it is exactly, and how many were killed.
