Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a 2017 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy and the 15th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sylvester Stallone, and Kurt Russell. It was directed by James Gunn. It was followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.
Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the items they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance. As the Guardians try to escape, the mystery of Peter's parentage is revealed.

Notes[]
- Near the beginning of the movie, the Sovereign ships that were Destroyed by Ego and the Guardians will not be counted because they were all remotely piloted.
- During the Attack on Berhert, Rocket tricks a Ravager into shooting Brahl, but this won't count as a death seeing as Brahl is later seen alive and subsequently killed by Yondu instead.
- Whilst on Ego's Planet, Gamora and Nebula find the bones of thousands of Ego's children, but none will be counted since there is not a specific number for how many were killed and it is impossible to count them all.
