Trivia
- One of the highest grossing British rock singers along with David Bowie.
- Unofficially retired in 2001 due to his album "On" flopping due to his arrest in 1999 he may attempt to release another album because during an interview he was quoted as saying "I have an incomplete album that I want to finish. I have been thinking about the plan during my days in jail. I have sung rock ‘n’ roll for 40 years. After jail, I will continue to rock ‘n’ roll". He may have been talking about his unreleased 1997 album called "Lost on Life Street" which had songs taken from it and added to "On" but it is unlikely due to him having a six year time where he was reported to be recording music.
- Attempted to commit suicide many times during the 1980s - 1990s.
- Has been arrested for possession of child pornography, DUI, and child abuse.
