Garfield is a series of comic strips created by Jim Davis, beginning in 1978 and continues to this day. The series is preceded by the comic strip Jon which began in 1976 and concluded in 1978 with the introduction of the Garfield comic.
The series features a cat who loves eating Lasagna named Garfield as the main protagonist, Jon Arbuckle as his owner, and Odie as his pet dog.
