From Dusk till Dawn is a 1996 American action horror film directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino from a concept and story by Robert Kurtzman. It stars Harvey Keitel, George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Ernest Liu, Juliette Lewis, Tom Savini, Fred Williamson, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, the late Michael Parks, the late Kelly Preston, and the late John Saxon. It was followed by From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money in 1999.
The plot follows a pair of American criminal brothers (George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino) who take a family as hostages (Harvey Keitel, Ernest Liu, and Juliette Lewis) in order to cross into Mexico, but ultimately find themselves trapped in a saloon frequented by vampires.
